Social-Emotional Wellness
Schools are an ideal setting to support the social and emotional well-being of students and offer resources and opportunities to build resilience. At Paramount High School, we strive to support the social and emotional well-being of all our students. We've learned that when students feel secure socially and emotionally, they have fewer disciplinary issues, can focus more on school work, and can develop skills to communicate better. This type of security for our students translates to improved academic outcomes and better health later in life.
At Paramount High School we have two dynamic School Social Workers and two passionate LACOE staff via the LACOE Community Schools Initiative. Please visit the School Social Workers webpage and the PHS LACOE Community Schools webpage to the right.
