that parents have the option to use. (1) Parents may wish to carry their own third-party
insurance to protect the Chromebook/ProBook in cases of accidental damage instead of the
optional listed insurance. Most home owner's insurance will not cover a lost
Chromebook/Probook; however, you may want to review your insurance policy.
For your convenience, we have included information on Chromebook and Probook insurance
through Worth Ave. Group. Full coverage is available for $46.10 for Chromebooks and $90.20
for Probooks per school year. Coverage includes Accidental Damage (Drops & Spills), Cracked
Screen, Liquid Submersion, Fire, Flood & Natural Disaster, Power Surge By Lightning, Theft &
Vandalism. If parents choose not to carry third-party insurance and the device is damaged or
stolen, they will be responsible for the full replacement cost of the device.
