On Monday, May 11, 2020, the Governing Board made the following changes to grading for high school students and graduation requirements for the Class of 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on our students and schools:
- Grades given to high school students will either be “Credit” or “No Credit"
- High school students and their families will be allowed to opt-in to receiving a traditional letter grade for each of their courses if they prefer
- The State of California's mandated graduation requirements will be used as the standard for earning a diploma for the Class of 2020
