The Paramount Unified School District is pleased to announce that more of its graduates are enrolling in college than ever before!
69% of PUSD’s graduating Class of 2019 enrolled in a four-year or two-year college in the fall after graduation, an all-time high and a substantial increase from the previous year (61%). Of particular note, enrollment in four-year colleges in particular has steadily risen over the years, reaching 31% for the Class of 2019 – another all-time high! This data comes from the National Student Clearinghouse, a highly respected organization that verifies college enrollment both nationwide and internationally.
College and Career Ready Graduates is a focus area of our district’s Strategic Plan; this data is evidence that our efforts are paying off! We still have a way to go in this area, but there is no doubt that we are making significant and steady progress.
